Ken (me!) has been reading and contributing to RBR since 1996. I used to be a distance runner and transitioned to bike racing only in 1995. I did my first bike racing though in 1978 at Indiana University and the Little 500 race - when it was on the black cinder track at the old 10th Street Stadium (where BREAKING AWAY was filmed, that very same Spring of 1978).
